Hickman County, Tennessee will hold a public meeting at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018, in the Hickman County Judicial Center located at 104 College Avenue, Centerville, Tennessee to discuss the Community Block Grant (CDBG) Program administered by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. The purpose of this meeting is to explain the guidelines of the program and to solicit input from area residents regarding potential uses of CDBG funds. CDBG funds can be used for water line extensions, water system improvements, sewer line extensions, sewer system improvements, housing rehabilitation, and other community development projects such as fire protection, emergency management facilities, drainage, rural health departments, etc.

All residents or entities with projects are encouraged to attend this meeting or mail suggestions to County Mayor Mark Bentley, Hickman County Administration Building, 114 North Central Avenue, Ste. 204, Centerville, TN 37033.
